THE FILE OF ROSE MORNINGMIST
NAME: Rose MorningMist (yes, with two capital M’s. It’s not a typo.)
AGE: 9 (in fairy years – so in other words, this is Rose’s age)
ARRIVAL DAY: 2nd October, 2008
HOBBIES: Reading, creative writing, art, playing piano, making videos and fangirling over my fandoms
HOGWARTS HOUSE: Hufflepuff (clearly, this is the most important part of any profile)
AMBITIONS: One day, I’d love to become an author
FAVOURITE COLOR: Purple
LIKES: My fandoms, chocolate, music, books, YouTube and when I’m able to brighten another person’s day
DISLIKES: Exams, being tired, social situations (I’m an introvert, I find too much socialising is exhausting)
FAVORITE QUOTE: Therefore ~ Chin up. Wings spread. Heart Open. And may I never, ever, forget my own story – and, may I have the courage to continue writing my own chapters. – Faith Fancypuff
I’m quite an old fairy, in fairy standards. My eyes were opened to the world of Pixie Hollow in 2008, and I fell in love with it instantly. Playing that game taught me to be yourself, to ignore the haters. It’s a chapter of my life that shaped me as a person, and has left me with many wonderful memories.
After the Hollow closed, I opened up my first blog, also named ‘Pixie Hollow – Our Biggest Secret’, but unfortunately technical problems got the better of it, and so I moved to WordPress. Now, years later, I’m still here, posting up stories, poetry and a bunch of other miscellaneous stuff – whatever I feel most inspired to share with the world.
In my spare time, I love gaming, writing, drawing, painting, playing the piano (badly), and reading as many books as I can get my hands on. I also recently started a YouTube channel, and I’m enjoying expressing myself in another creative form. ❤
Despite all this, I’m a really socially awkward person and as a result, my conversation skills aren’t the best. Blogging is a way for me to express myself and my talents without the fear of muddling my words or stumbling on each sentence. It also means other people can enjoy reading what I enjoy creating. Even if I only make one person smile, I’ll be happy knowing I’ve brightened someones day. 🙂

Pixie Hollow has been a huge part of my life since a very young age. When it closed, I was devastated, but what I’ve realised is, closing wasn’t the end.
It was just the beginning.
